Stage 3- Levels of Federal Government

Stage 3- Write a Business letter to your MP
Your task for stage 3 is to write a business letter to your Member of Parliament.
Using the business letter format you have been practicing in Language Arts with Mrs. Carmichael -Young, you are going to write a business letter to your Member Parliament.
The purpose of your letter is to either inform your MP of your opinion on a current Issue in society and ask or suggest that your MP to take certain action or make change, regarding this issue. Make sure you are able to defend your position and suggestions and provide evidence as that support from the key "I can statements" to demonstrate your understanding of those.  (ex. Create and table a certain bill, discuss with exec. Branch,  ask lobby groups)
Make sure you relate this back to quality of life and citizenship and the roles and responsibilities of your MP in regards to your quality of life.
Make sure your second paragraph informs your MP what action you want them to take, to display that you kow how the federal government structures work together, and the roles and responsibiltiy  of MPs
 Be sure to introduce yourself in this letter and use all business letter formatting.
This is your MP's mailing address;
